About InShape
InShapeWV is a one of kind, locally owned and operated medical office in Beckley, WV. We opened our doors in November 2012 focusing on weight loss and Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy. Since then we have incorporated BioTE hormone replacement therapy to our practice. We strive to promote health and wellness to the community and give those who have high deductibles, premiums and co-pays a chance to receive quality care at a fraction of the price in a timely manner.

Dr. Roger Edwards,
DO
Dr. Edwards, Medical Director of InShapeWV, has practiced in both Community Hospital and University/Level 1 Trauma centers throughout his career. He has served on the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine (WVSOM) Alumni Association Board of Directors, was a Founding Member of the A.A.E.M. He has served as Vice Chief of Emergency Medicine at Charleston Area Medical Center (C.A.M.C) and served as Director of the Emergency Department at Welch Emergency Hospital and Summersville Memorial Hospital prior to his moving to C.A.M.C in Charleston, WV. Dr. He is also a graduate of WVSOM, completed his PG-1 at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio, and Residency in Emergency Medicine at the A.B. Chandler Medical Center/University of Kentucky. He served as Chief Resident his senior year. He is an American Board of Emergency Medicine (A.B.E.M) Diplomat and an American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine (A.B.O.E.M) Diplomat, maintaining board certification for 30 years through A.B.E.M.
James R. Ellis, "Randy"

James R. Ellis (Randy), owner of InShapeWV, is a board-certified Adult Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Randy graduated from the West Virginia Institute of Technology with an Associates of Science in Nursing in 1995, getting start in medicine as a Registered Nurse. He continued his education and recieved a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Bluefield State College in 1998 and a Master of Science in Nursing from University of North Carolina in Charlotte in 2004. In the summer of 2018, Randy also became a certified provider through BioTE Medical, a world-known bio-identical hormone replacement company that specializes in hormonal imbalance to optimization through BioTE pellets.

Randy’s special interests include patient education as it relates to diet and exercise. He enjoys spending time with his wife and their four boys and in his spare time, he likes to hunt and fish.
Sherry Sanchez
LPN/Office Manager
Sherry Sanchez is a board certified Licensed Practical Nurse. Sherry graduated from the Academy of Careers and Technologies LPN program in Beckley, WV in 2005.
After graduating from nursing school she worked on the Med-Surg floor at Plateau Medical Center, then worked as the LPN & Allergy Department Manager for Mountain State ENT. In 2014, Sherry found her calling at InShapeWV, where she relates to the patients on multiple levels, not only with weight loss issues but also hormone imbalances. She plays many roles at InShapeWV, she is not only their LPN & Wellness Consultant but also their Office Manager. Sherry enjoys educating the patients on the multiple programs & services they have to offer, guiding patients throughout their weight loss journey & encouraging them to stay focused on their goal.
In Sherry’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two children, being outdoors, 4-wheeling, hunting, fishing, and traveling.
